Bonaventure Cemetery is a must-see for visitors to Savannah, Georgia. Located on the Wilmington River just outside of downtown Savannah, this historic cemetery was established in 1846 and encompasses over 100 acres of sprawling grounds, lush with magnolia trees and Spanish moss draped over ancient oaks. Its landscape has been featured in films like Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and General Sherman's March to the Sea.


Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters

The Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters is a historical landmark in Savannah, Georgia. It was built in 1816 for George Welshman Owens and his wife Sarah Thomas, one of the most prominent families in early 19th century Savannah. The house itself is considered one of the best examples of Regency architecture in the country and features an elegant parlor, two-story portico, and terrace garden.
